The EDC17 combines a 1500-lumen white light, a 1350mW UV light, and a green Class 1 laser in a particularly compact housing. A mode button selects the desired light source, and a slide switch selects the desired brightness. Both the white and UV lights are available in multiple brightness levels. The battery level indicator allows you to check the charge status of the integrated 1500mAh Li-ion battery at any time. The built-in battery is charged via a USB-C charging port. The slim design, combined with the deep pocket clip, allows the Nitecore EDC17 to almost completely disappear into a trouser pocket. A ceramic glass breaker at the end of the shaft expands the EDC17s range of uses. The EDC17 s configuration of white light, UV light, and laser makes it a versatile companion.
