- Description If you have a set of Rhino Rack Nautic Side Loading Kayak Carriers (580 or 570) and wish you had the Nautic Rear Loading Kayak Carriers (581 or 571), we can help. Our Rear Loading Upgrade consists of two rear carriers, allowing you to remove your existing rear carriers and replace them with a pair of Rear Loading carriers. Select the 580 option if you have the Nautic Side Loading Carriers, which are channel mounted. Or, select the 570 option if you have the Nautic Side Loading Carriers, which fit around your cross bar. Each upgrade kit comes with a pair of carriers, and the 580 kit also includes 1x Secure Core Tool, to lock / unlock the security covers. Please note: The 570 carriers require a special tool to fit and remove. You need to use the tool that came with your original carriers.
